Sh. AbdurRahman Khan

Sh. AbdurRahman Khan is a graduate of the Islamic University in Madinah Munawwarah, in the faculty of Shari’ah (Islamic Jurisprudence) specializing in Islamic Inheritance. He attended the university from 1982 to 1989. He is currently serves as the chairman of the Shari’ah Council of ICNA and a member of the Fiqh Council of North America.  He’s active in Interfaith Dialogue.

Dr. Sabeel Ahmed

Executive Director of the GainPeace Project Dr. Sabeel Ahmed currently serves as the Director of the GainPeace Dawah project. Dr. Sabeel has been involved in dawah work for over 15 years. Dr. Sabeel is a student of Shaykh Ahmed Deedat, has extensively studied comparative religions. Dr. Sabeel has lectured widely on Islam, conducted da’ee training courses. Upon completing his medical education, Dr. Sabeel has dedicated his life to being a da’ee.

Prof Shareef Muhammad

Professor Shareef Muhammad has taught Islamic Studies and African-American studies at Spelman University. Shareef holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in History from Central State University and a Masters degree in History from Kent State University.  He is part of the Black Dawah Network’s think-tank providing high-quality research articulating Islam’s relevancy of Black people.  He believes that Islam is a force for change as well as spiritually transforming.

Dr. Marwan Mohammad

Dr. Marwan studied and memorized the Quran in Tajac academy, and continues to study Islamic studies under the supervision of Shiekh Al-Munajjid. He has gained an Islamic diploma in Arabic Islamic Studies and is the President of the Ask A Muslim Dawah organization. Dr. Marwan is experienced in the field of Dawah with more than 20 years of experience. He is a local speaker and counselor, Doctor of medicine by profession,

Sh. Isa ibn Matta

Sh. Isa ibn Matta embraced Islam in 2013. Since then he has studied under over a dozen Shuyookh ranging from such esteemed places of knowledge such as the University of Madinah, Azhar University and others. He is fulltime with ICNA Dallas for WhyIslam project.  Prior to Islam, Ust. Isa majored in Psychology and Philosophy; after becoming Muslim he continued his studies in Project Management Professionalism and certifications in Mental Health.

Dr. Hernán Guadalupe

Dr. Hernán Guadalupe embraced Islam in 2001 while earning a Bachelor of Engineering. He holds a Master degree from the University of Maryland, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University. Hernan has studied Islamic sciences at the American Open Univ, Univ of Mishkah, and is currently completing his Bachelors in Islamic Studies.  He also completed the classical Arabic curriculum at the Fajr Center for the Arabic Language in Cairo, Egypt.

Sh. Hesham Aly

Imam Hesham Aly is an Islamic Chaplain with the New Jersey Department of Corrections. He is a Graduate of the School of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo university in Egypt. He is enrolled in the MA program in the The Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences (GSISS). He is currently pursuing his Bachelor in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University.

Sh. Gyasi Mckinzie

Sh. McKinzie is a graduate from the Islamic Univ of Madinah and also holds a Masters degree from Vanderbilt University in Theological Studies. He has over 20 years of experience providing Islamic leadership to schools and organizations. He has served as Imam of the Muslim Society of Memphis and as chaplain at two federal prisons in Memphis, TN.

Imam Farhan Siddiqi

Imam Farhan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Biology with a plan to apply for medical school. He decided to change course in his life and specialize in serving the Muslim community. That caused him to travel to Makkah and enroll at Umm al Qura University, earning bachelor degrees in Arabic language and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Kia Jahed

Dr. Kia Jahed is a former collegiate basketball player, personal trainer, biomedical engineering researcher, and currently a physician practicing Musculoskeletal Radiology and Interventions. After converting to Islam in high school, he has been passionate about Islamic Studies and holistic interpretations of scripture, especially as they bear relevance to modern times.

Sh. Anwar Arafat

Sh. Anwar has served as an Imam for 9 Years in Salt Lake City, Memphis, and Nashville. He earned his undergraduate degree in Film at the University of Utah and studied Islam in Palestine, Kuwait, and the Graduate Theological Foundation. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Islamic Education from the Islamic Seminary of America. In addition to clergy-work, Sh. Anwar works with IERA (Islamic Education and Research Academy).
